Tim Grose

I am Tim Grose, aged 59, from the UK and a life-long runner.

Over the years I have competed at all distances from 800 to the marathon. Some of my PBs are 1:55.8 for 800, 3:55.5 for 1500, 15:26 5000, 32:17 10K & 2:33:53 marathon. Am somewhat slower these days but still very keen and just managed a sub 3 at Seville in Feb 2023 with a 2:59:52! More recently, I have been focusing on shorter distances and ran 18:38 for 5K in 2025 and hope to build on that in 2026.

As part of Athletics Data, I ran the UK results & rankings sites Power of 10 https://www.thepowerof10.info and https://www.runbritainrankings.com from 2009 until January 2026.

My channel tries to reflect what interests me so comparative shoe tests - the "shoeoff" ones, more recently the Running YouTuber News series, news of my training and racing and some general analysis and stats.
